Get to know me

Hi, I’m Caroline!
I’m a very fast-paced individual who loves to take on new challenges and make things happen. This sense of exploration inspired me to work as a freelancer and bring meaningful projects to life.
My experience in tourism
Throughout the years, I’ve seen the travel industry from many different perspectives. My journey so far included:
Thanks to this experience in various fields, I got to know both the potential and the challenges of the industry. Now, I want to use this knowledge and inspire people to take new perspectives on traveling and reflect on the impact their choices have.

My thoughts about the industry
The more I learned about the tourism industry, the wider the gap seemed between what providers communicate and the experiences travelers actually have.
Tourism providers often present a perfect picture to travelers while – behind the scenes – dealing with challenges like overtourism, which many consumers are completely unaware of.
I believe that, as a trusted point of contact for travelers, it’s our responsibility to include them in the conversation. We need to show destinations as they really are and educate travelers about challenges and non-responsible practices. Because only informed tourists can make informed decisions.
And despite that – or perhaps precisely because of it – they can enjoy unforgettable and meaningful travel experiences that last a lifetime.
