My perspective on travel communication

The tourism industry…

Is often characterized by idealized representations to stay competitive in a crowded market.

Destinations and experiences are frequently presented as flawless, while challenges and local realities receive less space in the conversation.

Meanwhile, travelers…

Are becoming increasingly aware of their impact on the destinations they visit.

They want to see the real picture, travel authentically, and trust that their journey won’t harm local culture and nature.

How I approach it:

I believe travelers need to be well-informed about their destinations, understand controversial topics, and be empowered to form their own opinions.
Communication strategies should present the full picture and offer travelers honest advice. This approach makes us more approachable and trustworthy as agents and the traveler’s journey more meaningful and memorable. Most importantly, it helps reduce negative impact on the destination.

What’s your next project?

I’m curious to hear about your ideas and look forward to joining your next project!
